Delivery, worked out for you
Compost is heavy and awkward to move. Bags are around 18–20kg, and parcel, pallet and FSC delivery each involve real carrier, packaging, vehicle, fuel and loading costs. We keep compost prices clear rather than hiding a large delivery cost in every bag.
Enter your basket and postcode above. We compare the suitable paid options and show the most cost-effective one. Depending on the order and destination, that may be a parcel carrier, pallet delivery or FSC local delivery.
Parcel and pallet delivery
Smaller compost orders may travel by parcel carrier. Pallet delivery is suitable for larger or heavier orders and is kerbside as standard. It may arrive on a large HGV. A full pallet is approximately 50 of our 20kg-calculation bags (1,000kg). Please tell us about narrow lanes, restricted access, tight entrances or limited turning space; vehicle and access constraints can affect the carrier’s arrangements.
FSC local delivery
We are based in Kingsdon, near Somerton, Somerset. Local delivery normally operates within about 60 minutes one way. It is currently £1.80 per one-way route mile, rounded up to the next £5, with a £15 minimum. Kingsdon delivery is free. Availability is calculated for the actual order and address; larger loads may need suitable vehicle or trailer access.

Collection is available from Kingsdon, near Somerton, Somerset. Choose Customer collection when placing an order. We will let you know when it is ready and provide collection details before you travel. Your initial order confirmation is not a ready-for-collection notification.
Lightweight items
Lightweight items such as Nooski currently include UK delivery in the displayed price. This does not promise free delivery for every future non-compost product.
A note about door-to-door sales
We are based in South Somerset and only make local deliveries of pre-ordered products. We do not sell door-to-door. Independent door-to-door sellers are separate businesses and are not connected with Four Seasons Composts. Similar-looking bags may be supplied by different producers, so products sold elsewhere should not be assumed to be the same as ours. If you have a query or complaint, please contact the business you bought from. We are always happy to help with products supplied directly by Four Seasons Composts.
