Changing your mind about an online order
For most goods bought online, you can tell us within 14 days of receiving them that you want to cancel. You then have 14 days to return the goods. You can tell us by email, post or by using the form below. Please contact us before arranging a return, especially for compost or pallet goods, as they are heavy and can be expensive to move.
Where this is explained before purchase, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning a change-of-mind order. You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. We may make a lawful deduction if their value is reduced by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary. Original packaging is helpful but is not an absolute condition of your statutory cancellation rights.
Refunds
Where cancellation rights apply, we refund the product price and the applicable basic outward delivery cost. If you chose a more expensive delivery service, the additional cost is not normally refundable. We make the refund within the legally required period, usually using the original payment method, subject to receiving the goods back or evidence that they have been sent back where the law allows.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photographs where helpful. We will deal appropriately with repair, replacement, collection or refund costs where goods supplied by us are faulty, damaged or incorrect. Your statutory rights are not restricted by this policy.
