Description

This is a well rotted horse manure compost, providing an excellent alternative to use of harsh chemical fertilisers.

Made from a peat-free blend of organic horse manure and recycled composted green waste this growing medium is suitable for almost all applications.

  • It is an excellent source of concentrated nutrients, rich in nitrogen, phosphate and potash.
  • It aids water and nutrient retention
  • Adds structure to light and sandy soils
  • Contains no pests or pathogens.

Ideal for year round use:

Spring

  • Sprinkle over seed beds and along the drills to give seeds a great head start
  • When planting shrubs and roses mix our all purpose horse manure compost with topsoil 50/50, put in planting hole and around the roots of plants
  • When planting vegetables, dig trench, cover the bottom with all purpose horse manure compost and fill with a 50/50 mix as before.

Summer

  • Apply around shrubs, roses and other plants in flower borders, in the vegetable garden and around fruit trees and soft fruit bushes.

Autumn

  • Spread liberally as mulch or dig into the soil, especially on the vegetable patch.

This is an excellent multi-purpose compost suitable for many applications and year-round use

Bag Sizes

When packed each bag is filled with approximately 40ltrs of compost.
It is important to remember that as an organic product there will be slight variations depending on moisture content and the product settling once packed onto pallets.
Delivery

For orders of 1 to 8 bags of compost each bag will be parcelled individually and sent by DHL. Current prices are displayed at checkout when you enter your postcode.

For orders of 9-50 bags these will be sent on a pallet using one of our pallet carriers. Our shipping settings allow for purchases of up to 4 pallets in one go – if you wish to order more than 200 bags please get in touch before ordering.

Where possible we aim to dispatch same-day, but orders received after 9am cannot be guaranteed due to our courier collecting at unknown times, occasionally very early in the day.

Deliveries are made Monday to Friday only, and not on bank holidays
Collection

If you would like to collect this item and save on delivery charges you’re very welcome to come and collect from our Somerset TA11 base.

When you place your order we will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient time for collection.

You can collect from our contactless area, or if you need assistance we are always more than happy to help you load.
Environmental Statement

As part of our commitment to protecting the environment, our suppliers are including more peat-free materials in their products, which includes recycled composted green waste.
While all contents are shredded and screened after being recovered from previous use, we can't always guarantee that some unwanted items of extraneous material will not make it into the final product.
