Description
This is a well rotted horse manure compost, providing an excellent alternative to use of harsh chemical fertilisers.
Made from a peat-free blend of organic horse manure and recycled composted green waste this growing medium is suitable for almost all applications.
- It is an excellent source of concentrated nutrients, rich in nitrogen, phosphate and potash.
- It aids water and nutrient retention
- Adds structure to light and sandy soils
- Contains no pests or pathogens.
Ideal for year round use:
Spring
- Sprinkle over seed beds and along the drills to give seeds a great head start
- When planting shrubs and roses mix our all purpose horse manure compost with topsoil 50/50, put in planting hole and around the roots of plants
- When planting vegetables, dig trench, cover the bottom with all purpose horse manure compost and fill with a 50/50 mix as before.
Summer
- Apply around shrubs, roses and other plants in flower borders, in the vegetable garden and around fruit trees and soft fruit bushes.
Autumn
- Spread liberally as mulch or dig into the soil, especially on the vegetable patch.
